Have you always loved horses but never learned to ride? Do you have a secret passion to "ride like the wind"? Are you a little intimidated by these huge creatures? Or have you just been out of the saddle for awhile and need to brush up on your skills? You're never too old to learn, and now at Briar Gate Farm we are offering several fun ways for the kid in you to get its chance!
Private Adult Lessons: $40 per hour
Learn one-on-one how to handle, groom and tack your horse. Get some good exercise and tone your muscles while learning concepts of centered riding and natural horsemanship both on the ground and in the saddle. We will start in the arena but also have the option of hitting the trail eventually. Explore the complex relationship between horse and handler and maybe even learn a little about yourself in the process!
Semi-Private Adult Lessons: $30 per person
Learn all of the above, but share the experience with one or two of your friends.
