What is Life Coaching? Life Coaching is an empowering partnership that involves a thought-provoking and creative process inspiring you to maximize your full potential.
What kind of goals might I want coaching for? You can partner with a Life Coach to help you achieve just about any goal. Examples might include: ·Launching a new business venture ·Making a career change · Transitioning back into or out of the workforce ·Figuring out your life purpose and calling ·Pursuing a childhood dream · Starting a fitness and healthier eating program ·Improving communication with a co-worker or family member ·Achieving better balance in your life How does Life Coaching work? Most coaching is done over the phone, but occasional face-to-face meetings for local clients is also an option. How often would we have sessions?
Sessions can be indivudually tailored to each clients' needs and availability. In addition to our three 3-month packages , clients may also choose to do one coaching session at a time.
How long does Coaching last?
For one-on-one coaching, many clients find that a three month commitment working on 1-3 goals is most beneficial. However, some clients prefer to go session-by-session which is also an option. During our complimentary 30 minute consultation, we can discuss which option would work best for your individual needs and goals.
What kind of Coaching-style Courses do you offer?
Kate has developed a 7 week course and accompanying workbook called Live Your Life with Passion & Purpose. This course can be offered to groups or individuals, in person on via telephone calls.
Kate E. Johnson, M.A.
I received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech in 1985 and a Master's Degree in Counseling from Oakland University in 1993. I worked as a fundraiser and trainer for a non-profit agency as well as a career counselor, consultant and trainer in the career development field for 12 years before taking time off to raise my two beautiful daughters. In 2005, my family moved to a small farm near Boulder, Colorado where I began living my own personal dream of having horses and many other farm animals in my own back yard. I have enjoyed sharing my passion for animals and farmsteading with numerous local children and adults ever since.
I completed my Life Coach training through the Institute for Life Coach Training, an International Coaching Federation accredited training program (www.coachfederation.org). I received my certification through the Center for Credentialing & Education (www.cce-global.org). As a Board Certified Coach, I am excited to offer one-on-one and group coaching sessions and inspirational coaching-style courses through Pathways Coaching, partnering with local and long distance clients striving to follow their own unique and exciting pathways!

"Life changing would be my two words to describe my coaching sessions with Kate. I have gained such an understanding of myself. Kate is patient and kind but will hold you accountable. I look forward to working with Kate again in the future!" - M.S.
Working with Kate Johnson was a wonderful experience. She is a highly skilled life coach who has helped me in multiple ways. One of the most valuable lessons I learned working with her was to identify and let go of people and situations that were draining my energy. I am now making way for new opportunities that did not seem possible before. Kate guided me towards identifying things that bring me true joy, and to seek out new opportunities that are more in line with my authentic self. She also helped me explore concrete strategies and plans for navigating this new path. I can boil it down to one essential point of view that she helped me realize: People who get what they want tend to be the ones who make the effort to know what they want. I am filled with hope and excitement for what the future holds! -K.C.
